Well we are here at last. The flight was very good. A bit of delay at hong kong but we were very happy with Cathay pacific. It is a very long way!
First day and already we have seen so much. Kids were troopers as we just walked and walked to stay awake until bedtime. We saw Trafalgar square, buckingham palace, big Ben, picadilly circus, loud soccer fans, big red buses, the tube and the British museum.
We were pretty tired by the afternoon so we were all fast asleep by 5pm. Which explains why I am now writing this at 6 am! Not too bad on the jet lag though.
The accomodation is lovely - very homey .
It is hard to believe that we are actually in London and I don't think it has sunk in yet.
Ready for day 2...

ReplyDeleteIt might be cold in Canberra, but it is still great here in Brissy, just had fresh snapper that Ken caught on the weekend for dinner tonight. Looking forward to the next installment.
