Eiffel Tower

Up and out to catch the train in to the Eiffel Tower.
Up, up, up we went. We chose to climb the stairs instead of taking the lift because the queue was much shorter, it is way cheaper and it was a more authentic experience. Glad that we did - it really was fun. There was lots of things to look at and learn about when we got to both the 1st and 2nd floor - more than we thought would be there - including a coffee shop! And of course the view was amazing. Loved it.
Afterwards we walked to the Champs Elysysses where we had lunch and wandered past the shops. Then more wandering along the concorde, past the Louvre and then on to buy more goodies at our favourite boulangerie (bakery) before heading back to the room for dinner.
After dinner we caught the train back into the city to see the Eiffel tower light up in the evening. It really is a spectacluar tower.

  3. Just caught up on all the news and photos.
Charlotte: Lilly where did you get the hat from?
Hope you are having a good time.
Natasha: Disneyland sounds cool. Hope you are having a good time.
    Toby: I'm still a nutcase
Peter: isn't here. Off to work
Back to me, Do you know how many stairs you had to climb? I told Natasha that we'd be doing the same and she instantly started to winge.
Been sing starring alot lately, must do when you get back!!!!!
I bet you are doing enough walking to not worry about the heavy butter content of french pastries.
Mothers Day in Paris, sounds devine.
Ooooh we are seconds away from Natasha's 7th tooth loss. At least the tooth fairy won't be confused tonight cause Natasha will be in her own bed. Last tooth loss was crazy. Natasha was sleeping in a different room and the tooth fairy left the money under the pillow next to her. Crazy!!!!!
Does it feel like your trip is going slow? fast?
    Bye for now
