Just taking an opportunity to do a quick blog before we depart on the Eurostar for France. Our blogging now will rely on wifi access so it may not be as regular as it has been. Don't fret - we will still be having fun!!
The last couple of days have seen us catch up with Ann's cousins - Kate in Portsmouth and Ashley in Kent. Always so lovely to see family - nothing like it.
In Portsmouth, on the way to a delicious Spanish dinner we went on the Millenium walk which gave us a really good whistlestop tour of Portsmouth - a really interesting city including a really tall tower built for the millenium. Plan to spend more time there next time...
Yesterday we visited Dover Castle (at Dover). Fabulous place with so much history from Roman times right up to WWII with the secret tunnels. Amazing.
Our bellies are full of breakfast - so off we go on the next leg of the adventure...
