We got onto more toll roads and drove through 135 tunnels (give or take) so you can imagine what the drive would have been like without all those tunnels. Lilly's tummy could not have handled it!
So here we are in Italia! Woohoo. We just have a one night stop here in Brescia where I have checked in with success using my basic Italian language skills.
Tomorrow we drive on to Trevisio (nearby to Venice).
YAY for shorts, we won't bother to pack them in the season we are going. In fact I bought the girls some thermal underwear.

ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful! What a great time you must be having. I have to admit, I have not been very good about reading your blog as I have been so busy with assignments and work, but looking through your pictures and reading a few of your messages really shows how nice it must be!!
Everything is great back at your place. (Not sure if you heard) but we have already found a new apartment and are in the process of slowing moving our stuff! We will definitely be out of your hair by the time you get back! ;)
